1. Jackson Hole Shopping
With so many cool shops to explore, you might forget to go back to the hotel. Walk Downtown Jackson’s famous boardwalks as you seek out the perfect souvenir. Whether you’re in the market for clothing, accessories, outdoor gear, or something in the way of a more permanent home fixture chosen from one of the area’s various art galleries, we’ve got exactly the retail options you’re searching for.
2. Jackson Hole Dining
Our four Town Square Inns properties are close to dozens of culinary options to suit your preferences and dietary needs. From family-friendly to high-end fine dining, steakhouses, and vegetarian haunts, visitors have a host of dining options all within walking distance of our hotel properties. Not sure where to start? We suggest hitting Picnic for breakfast, grabbing pizza at Pinky G’s Pizzeria, then enjoy live music and dinner at Million Dollar Cowboy Bar. Feel like treating yourself? 3. Million Dollar Cowboy Bar
With an iconic neon sign out front, you can’t miss the Million Dollar Cowboy Bar. Inside is even cooler, with a live music venue, bar, grill, and steakhouse. Have a seat in one of the “saddles” and embark on a uniquely Western experience. 4. Cowboy Coaster & Mini Golf
Offering skiing, snowboarding, and snow tubing in winter, Snow King Mountain Resort is a great walkable stop for family fun. They also offer tons of fun in the summertime too! Take a thrilling ride on the Cowboy Coaster or play a family round of mini-golf. The resort also hosts the traditional 4th of July fireworks and concerts from JacksonHoleLive! In the summertime.
5. Historic Town Square
No matter the time of year, there’s always something exciting going on in Town Square. Summer evenings bring a daily reenactment of a historical shootout, a Jackson Hole tradition going back to 1957, every night of the summer except Sundays. If you’re visiting in the winter, you can bring the family to hang out with Santa or check out special events like the tree lighting or ongoing events like ice skating. Don’t forget to take the requisite selfie under the famous antler arches.
6. Jackson Hole Playhouse
Previously a livery stable, a bowling alley, and many other local businesses before finally becoming a theater in 1948, Jackson Hole Playhouse has existed in its modern incarnation since 1978 and still occupies the oldest building in Jackson. The theater offers family-friendly shows as well as a youth theatre camp in the summertime. 7. Local Breweries in Jackson Hole
After taking in all the adventures Jackson Hole has to offer, unwind with a sampling of our local beer. There are two local beer options right downtown. Check out Melvin Brewing, annexed to Thai Me Up, for a memorable experience pairing Asian cuisine with local craft beers. Meanwhile, Snake River Brewing offers more traditional, but no less delicious, fare along with their own line of awesome locally brewed beer.
8. JH Center for the Arts
The cultural nucleus of Jackson Hole, the Center for the Arts has functioned as a non-profit organization since 2007, scheduling performances, workshops, and discussions for the whole community to enjoy. Check the Center for the Arts schedule for the upcoming performances and events.
9. Movie Theaters in Jackson Hole
After an exciting day in Jackson Hole, kick back and relax with a feature film at one of Jackson Hole’s movie theaters. Both MovieWorks and the Jackson Hole Twin Cinema are located in downtown Jackson. MovieWorks offers family fare and blockbuster releases, while the Twin Cinema showcases both Hollywood productions and independent film screenings.
10. Jackson Hole Nightlife & Live Music
You’ve had the day to make memories. Now make it a night to remember. Hit the town in Jackson Hole, starting with a drink at Silver Dollar Bar & Grill, where local musicians and artists often play. Then be sure to check out the Pink Garter Theatre (temporarily closed), which often hosts national touring acts and incredible musicians. Stop by The Rose, which is adjacent to the theater and features an upscale lounge atmosphere with excellent craft cocktails.
