For a spectacular New Year’s Eve celebration, don’t miss the Torchlight Parades on the evening of December 31. The three local mountain resorts host a series of skiers that descend steep terrain, holding a torch and creating vibrant streaks of light. After the skiers complete their journey, a series of fireworks sparkle across the night sky.

Santa on the Square

Enjoy kid-friendly fun with Santa on the Square from December 14 to 24 (5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.), taking pictures with Father Christmas and taking in a merry atmosphere. Held at the Town Square, these series of events feature hot chocolate, sweet treats, and festive music. Bring your little ones and send a letter to Santa Claus at a red mailbox near the Town Square. Letters with a return address will receive a response from the North Pole, immersing your children in the magic of the holidays.

Santa Aerial Tram Sightings

Planning a skiing and snowboarding adventure? While visiting one of the mountain resorts, spot the jolly Saint Nick rappelling from Jackson Hole Mountain Resort's aerial tram on Christmas Eve at 4:30 p.m., skating at the Village Commons Rink on December 24 from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., and riding the lifts at Snow King Mountain on Christmas Day from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
